Sligo Garden Club

Sligo Garden Club is a landscaping project that was set up last year with Sligo University Hospital. The objective was to improve green areas of the hospital and therefore patients well-being through planting flowers, embellishing  and encouraging biodiversity.

Yerlin Brady  participated as a volunteer, helping out the tutors and connecting with different people that attended.

We put in a practice team work and many of the participants learned new skills that will help them to be more independent also the benefit from being outdoors, and develop the ability to mix socially and make friends.
